Standing Alone

Authenticity is what people seek out to connect with others they can trust and believe in. But when I see people being rude, crass and disrespectful online or in person, I see unhealed traumas rather than authenticity. Also, what I find not genuine from the majority is being a “pick me,” to stroke the egos of the person in their inauthenticity. There is a lot of self deception in what others do that they aren’t conscious of.

Being bad or mean isn’t genuine. It’s a role being portrayed. It is just an emotion that we can tap into if there is a need. We can use it excessively and unnecessarily to a point where having this attitude is to make a valid point and that it is serious. But that act isn’t truthfully authentic, it’s just getting emotional to receive a mirrored response from others. It’s almost a psychological issue because we use these emotions and do not know where to genuinely place them. If all of our emotions are mainly the same to explain a thought or idea or a way to self expression then there is a deeper issue than what lies undetected.

And being cordial isn’t fake, it’s just being polite even if we don’t deal with an individual. If that person that I don’t deal with says something funny, it’s just that, funny, and it doesn’t mean that I have to be in agreement with others who don’t deal with that person either, if they don’t laugh or think that something was funny. I’m not here to satisfy other’s opinions but my own. These things are misconstrued and are adopted as the world’s wisdoms. This is what makes us worry about what other’s think of us, and that we need the social status to stay relevant and a part of the crowd. It’s all redundant and ego-based. It is a herd mentality, and no one can’t think unless the majority agrees. That’s a locked mindset. It’s not freedom. It’s not free-thinking.

Someone’s valued opinion isn’t of value if it’s all heard before. There are times where advice is needed confirmed and followed. But invaluable sources goes on and on in the media circles as if something new is being said. Even if it’s slightly from a different perspective, it still doesn’t mean that it’s right or finite. I’m not saying opinions do not matter at all, but when something is presented that no one has heard of, it cannot be processed, and immediately it gets targeted as something that it’s not, like hate. Think of the Pharisees and Jesus Christ. (Luke 5:21) (Matt. 23-5)

Regurgitated information, news, world wisdoms, opinions and assumptions cannot be authentic thought, but it’s genetically modified mindsets. A computer-lab-of-a-brain, as it can be easily accessed to control us by programming us with different stations on the same wire, and in the same tube. Think of television.

These old views cannot be considered genuine or transparent to enter the evolved human. To the new heaven and earth the evolved human has to be real, raw and in truth. The truth is authentic by being vulnerable, not putting on a show or an acting role. Crying, an overly aggressive attitude or rant does not justify a person as genuine, I’ve seen a lot of performers in my time. Those old digital and analog profiles will not sustain itself.

So as I say again, authenticity is just being your raw vulnerable self, no flash, and like being without the camera and audience. Standing alone is the most authoritative. It’s also the most difficult role to be in, because they don’t call them fans for nothing~they either lean and sway one way or go in another direction to keep the forceful winds blowing, but it is up to you to stand tall in them. So be your beautiful wonderful unique and authentic self. Trust me, the world will eventually catch on, and if it doesn’t, you still choose not to move.
